Yardley Players Theatre Company

Our Mission

The Yardley Players Theatre Company's (YPTC) purpose is to produce plays in, expose the community to, and assist in the education of, the theater arts.

History

YPTC was created in 1991 for the purpose of providing opportunities for the community to participate in theater productions, and to provide education in the theater arts.

The company began with a group of people whose passion for theater brought them together. YPTC strives to bring a variety of quality entertainment to the Yardley/Trenton area and wishes to be a community theater company in every sense. YPTC welcomes people with various levels of training and interests: from performing to technical stage crew.

YPTC debuted in May, 1991 with Talking With... Two more productions--Chapter Two, and The Best Christmas Pageant Ever--rounded out the company's first season. Since then YPTC has performed dozens of shows, averaging 2-3 a year.

The Board serves on a volunteer basis and holds seven meetings each year.

Membership

Membership in the Yardley Players Theater Company entitles you to participate in the activities of the company, including membership meetings, workshops, theater trips, social events, script readings, theatrical productions and any ticket discounts for which you are eligible.

Membership terms run from July 1 to June 30.

Corporate sponsorship includes free tickets to performances (or donation of same to a charity of their choosing) at the following levels:

Platinum	25 tickets to performances
